Yes! We have over 30 food vendors from across New Orleans who will be featuring a signature dish to share with the guests! Food will be available only in the courtyard. We encourage guests to indulge themselves during cocktail hour as the program will be quite engaging! Guests will transition to the ballroom shortly after 7pm to begin our Cure by Design program! Food will still be available outside after the program as well.
Yes! However, the bars will close shortly after 7pm as the program begins. We encourage guests to arrive on time at 6pm so that you can fully enjoy the cocktail hour performance by Hot 8 Brass Band, savor some delicious bites, and sip on cocktails before the program starts. Don’t forget that tables with full participation in the Fund the Mission paddle raise will be rewarded with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne to enjoy at your table!
The program lasts roughly 1 hour and starts at approximately 7:20pm. You won’t want to miss any of it! Guests will hear from our event Chairs, Title and Presenting sponsors, our Mission speaker and the 2024 Heart & Soul Award recipient. There will also be an exciting auction with amazing items and a chance to help Fund The Mission of American Cancer Society. Of course, the highlight of the show will be the presentation of our fabulous 2024 Cure Champion Honorees. Don’t be late!
During cocktail hour, guests will enjoy a performance by Hot 8 Brass Band. After the program concludes, Blue Rhythm will keep the party going so we can dance the night away!
The silent auction closes on Sunday, September 29 at 12:00PM.
Strike a pose! Our Vanity Fair-style photoshoot kicks off in the main ballroom right after the program from 8:30pm-11pm. And for those craving a little extra glam, the Glambot will be capturing fabulous moves in the courtyard all night long!
The party doesn’t have to end when the gala does, we encourage everyone to keep the party going by purchasing tickets and attending the official gala after party at Republic. You can log on to www.nolacurebydesign.org to purchase after party tickets! There will be a special performance from Big Freedia, along with DJ Raj Smoove to keep the energy high all night. Get your tickets early because the price will increase at the door.
